Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thomas Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Salocin Zerep! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zerep wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Peterson shoots in looking for a takedown. Zerep tries to sprawl out of it but Peterson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zerep manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Peterson throws a low kick but Zerep moves out of range easily. Zerep instigates a clinch. Peterson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zerep gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Zerep is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Peterson goes for a takedown attempt but Zerep pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Peterson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peterson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zerep swivels and escapes.

Peterson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Peterson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zerep as he avoids it easily. Zerep dips to his left and cracks Peterson with an uppercut! Peterson shoots for a double leg takedown but Zerep sprawls well. He's pushed Peterson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Zerep lands a left and a right that send Peterson crashing to the mat, dazed. Zerep thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Peterson is rocked! Zerep closes the distance and clinches. Oh Peterson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zerep has Peterson pushed against the cage. Good body shot from Zerep.

Peterson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Peterson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zerep drops Peterson onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Peterson is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! A left hand lands to the body for Zerep.

Zerep cracks Peterson with a nice body shot. Zerep lands a hook to the side of the head. Zerep makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Zerep gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Peterson.
Zerep is leaning against Peterson and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Zerep holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Zerep working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Zerep gets through Peterson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A right handed body shot lands from Zerep.
Zerep unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Peterson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Zerep is unloading with more strikes now! Peterson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Salocin Zerep!
