Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Withrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macapinlac Co (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

19 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Macapinlac Co! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Co throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Withrow. Withrow throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Withrow. Co does a little dance to reset his feet. Co tries for a takedown but Withrow circles away easily and Withrow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Co's knee momentarily. Withrow throws a leg kick but Co sees it coming and checks it nicely. Withrow tries to bum rush Co with a series of wild strikes but Co uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Co looks for a takedown but Withrow sprawls well. Withrow misses with a double jab
and Co counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Co wants to stand but Withrow is controlling his posture from full guard. Co postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Withrow is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Co, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Withrow trying to control the position from guard on top but Co is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Co wants to hit a switch here but Withrow passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Co there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Withrow controlling the position easily from mount. Co is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Co wants to hold on but Withrow pushes him away.

Withrow can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Co is looking to escape. Withrow tries to push Co's head away but Co is holding on tight. Withrow throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Withrow takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Co holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Withrow tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Co closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Withrow's guard. Withrow wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Co postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Withrow is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Co, into his guard. Withrow is stalling in the full guard.

Co is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Co not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jack Withrow has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Co moves to clinch but Withrow breaks away and Withrow counters with an outside leg kick.
Co checks a low kick from Withrow. Withrow lands with an overhand left. Withrow tries a head kick but it misses.
Co tries to clinch up. Co gets a double leg takedown into Withrow's guard. Withrow is trying to keep Co in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Co throws and elbow that misses. Withrow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Co's guard. Nice move by Withrow! Withrow trying to control but Co is working from the bottom. Co looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Withrow puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Withrow trying to control from half guard but Co is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Withrow is pressing down on Co's thigh, looking to free his foot. Co is holding on for now. Co is looking to improve his position.
Withrow is looking to take a break and control but Co is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Withrow trying to mount his opponent but Co defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Withrow lands with a kick to the temple. Co shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Co tries for a takedown but Withrow circles away easily and Withrow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Withrow throws a head kick that misses. Withrow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Co moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Co wants to clinch but Withrow slips to the side and Withrow counters with a straight right hand. Co with a poor takedown and Withrow counters with a head kick. That will keep Co thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Withrow throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Co tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Withrow counters with a big head kick but Co shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Withrow slips a straight right by Co. Withrow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Co manages to avoid it. Co closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Withrow to the mat! Withrow manages to get full guard. Withrow is controlling Co's posture. Co landing some decent shots from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Withrow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Co is one step ahead there. Co wants to control from the top but Withrow keeps moving. Withrow looking for a sweep. Not yet Withrow, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Co throws a strike but Withrow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Withrow postures up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Withrow tries a head kick but it misses.
Co is trying hard to land a takedown here. Withrow sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jack Withrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Macapinlac Co. Withrow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Withrow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Co manages to get himself to full guard.
Withrow won't allow Co to sweep him here. Withrow wants to control from the top but Co keeps moving. Withrow tries to free his leg and advance position but Co is retaining full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Co keeping moving, preventing Withrow from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Withrow clearly takes that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Co counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Co wants to work for an arm triangle but Withrow is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Co looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. Withrow keeps control of the position for the meantime. Withrow wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Withrow desperately trying to maintain half guard. Co is trying to control the action in half guard but Withrow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Co is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Withrow sees it coming and defends easily. Withrow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Macapinlac Co has got the better of the ground game so far. Withrow gets back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Co thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Withrow's head. Co working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Co wants to work for an arm triangle but Withrow is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Co looks to land a strike but Withrow avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Co working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Co throwing strikes but missing. Co loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Withrow wants to sweep here but Co controlling him for the moment. Co throwing strikes from guard but Withrow blocks nicely. Co trying to control but Withrow is working from the bottom. Withrow not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Co throws and elbow that misses. Withrow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Co's guard. Nice move by Withrow! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Macapinlac Co dominated that fourth round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and Co counters with a takedown into side control. Co tries to score with some ground and pound. Withrow controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Withrow can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Withrow is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Co lands an elbow. Co trying to control the position but Withrow is working away. Co works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Co cracks Withrow with a big right hand but Withrow just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Withrow gets back to half guard. Co lands with a punch from half guard. Withrow is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Co's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Co's back! Macapinlac Co has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Withrow is trying to stick to Co's back but Co is turning into Withrow. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Withrow's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Co. Withrow is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Co is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Withrow is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Withrow has escaped and now he's on top! Withrow trying to control but Co is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Co manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The referee warns Withrow that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Co breaks from Withrow's wrist control and lands an elbow. Co jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Withrow is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Withrow and Co has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Withrow defending against the ground and pound. Withrow avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Co. Withrow managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Co.
Jack Withrow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Co is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Withrow has escaped the position, nice work there. Withrow is trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Macapinlac Co comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Withrow has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
