Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Swarowski!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swarowski swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A punch combination from Swarowski misses.
Swarowski closes the distance but Jackson moves to the side

and Jackson counters with a takedown into side control.
Swarowski is looking to reverse the position.
Swarowski is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jackson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Swarowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Swarowski can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jackson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Swarowski has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Swarowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson has control of Swarowski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Swarowski regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jackson unloads with some shots from mount but Swarowski bucks and avoids them well.

Swarowski is stalling here. Jackson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Swarowski seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jackson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Jackson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Swarowski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Swarowski is not content to let Jackson control the position.
Jackson is working Swarowski over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Swarowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Swarowski is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jackson is controlling him well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

We're going to have a standup here because Samuel Jackson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Swarowski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Swarowski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jackson eats them both and turns towards Swarowski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Swarowski changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Jackson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
