0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Phat Kock! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kock feints and as Set raises his hands in defense, Kock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Set's guard. Set lands with a few short shots to the body. Set wants to get back to full guard. Set tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Set knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kock on the ground. Kock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Set! Kock is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Set has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kock has control of Set's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Set regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kock working for a guillotine from mount but Set is in no mood to give up. Kock is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Set is surviving well by controlling Kock's body position as best he can. Set can't escape the position.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Set tries to get out of the position. Kock wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Set, who protects the arm well. Kock looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Set gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kock is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Set defends it well. Kock wants to free his trapped foot but Set is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kock works his way into side control. Kock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kock has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Set is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kock yanks on the arm and Set is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kock.
