The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva is looking to clinch but Ortiz is avoiding it.
Silva drives through and clinches with Ortiz against the cage.
Ortiz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ortiz.
Ortiz shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Ortiz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ortiz feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Ortiz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silva throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Silva avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ortiz.
