Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Project Ex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Getty Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ex comes into the arena with The Distillers - City of Angels blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ex misses with a series of wild punches.
Ex gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ex avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ex keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully.
Li missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ex can't keep his opponent in guard - Li advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Li perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ex knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
It looks like Li might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Ex is trying to stand up here but Li is controlling him well.

Ex throws a right hand that Li ducks under and follows up with a left that Li also avoids with ease.
A punch lands to the side of Li 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ex tries to clinch but Li moves out of range.
Li cracks Ex with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Ex closes this distance looking for a takedown but Li circles away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Li shoots in looking for a takedown. Ex tries to sprawl out of it but Li keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ex manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ex lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Li circles away quickly and effectively.

Li tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ex swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Li misses with a wild combination.
Li shoots in but Ex avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Li shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ex but Ex pushes him off and we're back to square one.

You can see the frustration on Ex's face as Li controls the position.

Getty Li showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Getty Li comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Li has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
