Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jadimbu Muliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rizzo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to .. Muliva has chosen In Flames - The Quiet Place as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muliva throws a lazy uppercut
and Rizzo counters with a slapping leg kick.

enabling Rizzo to counter with a crisp jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rizzo. Muliva does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rizzo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rizzo in particular looking to stall.
Rizzo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Muliva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

and Rizzo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Muliva's guard.

Muliva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rizzo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Muliva.

The fighters circle momentarily. Muliva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
