Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dolly Parton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parton comes to the ring accompanied by call to prayer. Ricardo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Can't Tell Me Nothing. Ricardo Ricardo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parton looking to score a takedown here. Ricardo is defending well but Parton drives through and ends up in Ricardo's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ricardo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Parton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Parton is pushing down on Ricardo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ricardo is fighting to maintain full guard but Parton has managed to sneak the leg through.

Parton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parton throws a strike but Ricardo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ricardo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Parton dives on top into guard.

Parton is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ricardo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Parton is looking to defend but Ricardo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Parton! Ricardo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Parton taps out and this one is all over!
