Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Souto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dureal Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souto kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Snopp Dogg - Sweat. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Souto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Souto wants to control from the top but Robinson keeps moving.
Souto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Robinson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Robinson working for a triangle but Souto defends it easily.

Robinson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rolando Souto wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Robinson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Robinson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dureal Robinson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

and Robinson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Souto!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Robinson is working for a kimura here but Souto manages to reverse the position and he's now in Robinson's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson is staying active underneath Souto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Souto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Souto lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Souto is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Souto extends the arm and Robinson is forced to tap!
