Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Sherk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Cheese! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherk throws a shot to the body.
Cheese avoids the body shot from Sherk.
The crowd cheers as Cheese lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sherk doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Bryan Sherk has been cut. Cheese shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sherk eats them both and turns towards Cheese to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Cheese lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sherk circles away quickly and effectively. Cheese misses with the combination.
Cheese lands a jab-cross combination. Cheese swinging wildly here.
Cheese throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sherk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cheese throws an overhand right that lands on Sherk's shoulder, as Sherk tries to avoid the shot. Sherk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherk advances to half guard. Sherk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sherk passes the guard and advances to mount! Cheese keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Sherk connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Cheese is trying to escape the mount.
Sherk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cheese is trying to stand up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cheese is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sherk controlling his opponent. Cheese is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Sherk. Sherk lands a big shot there that rocks Cheese but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Cheese slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Cheese punching from the bottom.
Cheese wants to get back to full guard. Sherk trying to control the pace. Sherk is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cheese slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cheese keeping moving, preventing Sherk from controlling successfully. Sherk forces his way into half guard. Sherk is thwarting Cheese's attempts to control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cheese has a hand on Sherk's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sherk takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sherk lands a slapping body shot.
Cheese throws a body punch but Sherk moves out of range. The fighters circling - Cheese throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sherk connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sherk is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cheese's half guard. Cheese wants to control but Sherk is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cheese tries to kick Sherk off but Sherk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sherk working over Cheese with some ground and pound. Cheese looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Sherk moves nicely into side control. Sherk lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Sherk cracks Cheese with a big elbow. Sherk scoring with punches from side control. Cheese is trying to get back to half guard. Cheese trying to control but Sherk flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cheese tries to break free.
Sherk lands shots from the back. Cheese wants to escape the position.
Cheese is keeping busy.
Sherk punches Cheese on the ear. Sherk lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheese staying busy and making it hard for Sherk to control. Cheese manages to reverse the position and now he's in Sherk's guard. Nice work there by Cheese.
Cheese wants to control from the top but Sherk keeps moving. Sherk has his hands on Cheese's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Bryan Sherk wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cheese throws a combination that misses enabling Sherk to counter with a crisp jab. Sherk sizes up Cheese with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sherk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cheese moves away. Cheese throws a lazy right hand but Sherk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sherk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cheese. Richard Cheese is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sherk showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cheese.
Sherk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Sherk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cheese. A telegraphed right hand from Cheese misses the target. Cheese misses with a series of wild punches.
Sherk shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sherk showed some decent athleticism there. Sherk lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cheese is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sherk controlling the action here. Bryan Sherk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sherk works his way into side control. Cheese struggling a bit here. Sherk works to advance to full mount. Cheese defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cheese is looking to get to half guard. Sherk trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sherk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cheese looks a forlorn figure.
Cheese is looking to improve his position but Sherk isn't that keen on the idea. BOOM! Sherk connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheese is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sherk scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Cheese?
Bryan Sherk is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sherk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Cheese wants to control but Sherk is having none of it. Cheese working to try and regain half guard.
Cheese takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cheese tries to hold on but Sherk pushes him away. Sherk controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Sherk showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sherk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
