Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Bo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bo counters with a takedown into side control. Peters tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Peters is working hard here to advance position. Peters regains half guard. Peters looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Peters is pressing down on Bo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Peters looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Peters is looking to sweep but instead, Bo has passed into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bo trying to pass the guard but Peters defending well. Peters looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Peters moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Peters looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bo has picked Peters up and slammed him! Peters can't keep hold of the triangle and Bo manages to pass to side control! Peters tries to improve position but can't. Bo tries to advance to mount but Peters denies him. Peters tries to improve position but can't. Bo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bo is looking to take a break and control but Peters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peters manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Peters is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Peters seems to be looking for submissions.

Peters drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bo dives on top into guard. Peters keeping moving, preventing Bo from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peters is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bo is aware though and is defending well. Bo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bo is posturing up here but Peters has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bo has to tap! Slick submission there by Peters!
