Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Philips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osi Tuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Philips comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Hall Days. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Philips! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Osi Tuck! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuck swinging wildly here.
Tuck misses with an uppercut. Philips lands a nice hook to Tuck's body. Tuck takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Tuck tries for a takedown but Philips sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tuck closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Philips did well to prevent Tuck getting side control. Philips wants to get back to full guard. Philips is trying to control but can't.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tuck accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Philips keeping moving, preventing Tuck from controlling successfully. Philips tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tuck wants to control from the top but Philips keeps moving. Tuck seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tuck is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tuck tries to free his leg and advance position but Philips is retaining full guard. Tuck slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Philips is looking to regain half guard here but Tuck keeps moving and retains side control. Tuck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Philips wants to control but Tuck postures up. Philips knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tuck on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Tuck seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Tuck scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Philips to see if he's OK. Tuck wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Philips, who protects the arm well. Philips tries to improve position but can't. Tuck lands a nice forearm strike. Tuck grinds an elbow into Philips's temple. Tuck connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Philips some visible discomfort.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Philips tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Philips is not content to let Tuck control the position. Philips tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tuck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tuck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Philips moves away. Tuck fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tuck uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tuck. Tuck closes this distance looking for a takedown but Philips circles away. Philips uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tuck.
Tuck connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Philips's hands. Tuck fails to land with a series of punches.
Philips misses with a right hand and Tuck counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Philips misses the target. Philips throws a predictable looking body shot
and Tuck counters with a one-two to the body. Philips tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tuck swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tuck trying to control from half guard but Philips is working away. That was a close second round but I would say that Ray Philips will probably get the nod. That's time! Philips's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Philips is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tuck's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tuck's back! Tuck covering up well under a barage of strikes. Tuck manages to reverse the position and now he's in Philips's guard. Nice work there by Tuck.

Tuck might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Philips kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fight is ruled a majority draw! Ray Philips retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
