Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sir Chinalot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerrin Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chinalot's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Me So Horny. Jerrin Booth has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sir Chinalot's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Booth lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

so Chinalot counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Chinalot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Booth wants to stand and escape but Chinalot is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Booth is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Chinalot drops down looking for an ankle pick but Booth pulls his leg out and moves away.
Booth lands a nice shot that snaps Chinalot's head back.

Booth has hold of Chinalot's hands but Chinalot slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Chinalot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chinalot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Booth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chinalot thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Booth's head.

Booth is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chinalot scores with a couple of nice shots.

Chinalot working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
