Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horseflesh rushes Taylor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Horseflesh lands a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Taylor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Horseflesh stacks Taylor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Horseflesh!
Horseflesh tries for a kimura but Taylor is defending well.
Taylor is trying to improve his position.
Horseflesh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Taylor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Taylor looks to move to half guard but instead Horseflesh has passed into mount! Damn!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Horseflesh is working for a guillotine from mount but Taylor frees his head quite easily.

Horseflesh is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Taylor can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Horseflesh is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Taylor is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Taylor flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Horseflesh anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Taylor and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Horseflesh slips an arm under Taylor chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Horseflesh has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Horseflesh is squeezing on Taylor like an anaconda would it's prey. Taylor fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lyman Horseflesh!
