Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Suan Paredes!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed tries for a takedown but Paredes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice shot lands for Paredes.
Paredes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Creed.
Paredes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Paredes leaves Creed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Creed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Creed fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Paredes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Creed to the ground. Paredes is now in Creed's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Creed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Paredes defends well.

Creed has his foot on Paredes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paredes works his way back into a safe position though.

Paredes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paredes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Creed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Creed tries to get out of the position.
Paredes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Creed manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Paredes is in a horrible position here. Creed smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Paredes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Paredes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Creed kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Creed pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Paredes can't escape the position.
Creed landing strikes from the mount and Paredes is in trouble!
Creed lands a big elbow.


Paredes is rocked!
Creed is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Paredes can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Paredes is still in real trouble! Can Creed finish him?
Creed lands a big shot to the head and Paredes winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
