PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fenny Klorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klorian comes into the arena with Got the Time - Anthrax blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukens will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Klorian throws a low kick but Lukens avoids it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Klorian.
Klorian takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lukens fails with an attempt to clinch.
Klorian throws a jab when Lukens was well out of range.
Klorian uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lukens.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lukens!
Lukens fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lukens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Klorian as he avoids it easily.
Lukens walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Klorian checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A slapping body kick lands there for Lukens.
Klorian tries a head kick but it misses.
Lukens doesn't manage to clinch there - Klorian circles away.
Klorian misses with a head kick.

Lukens bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Lukens swings around for an armbar but Klorian sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lukens's guard.

Klorian postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lukens controls Klorian momentarily but Klorian frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lukens misses with an attempted mid kick.

Fenny Klorian is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Klorian avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Klorian throws a head kick but Lukens moves out of range.
Klorian is breathing heavily.
Klorian misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lukens misses with the combination.
Lukens walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lukens looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Klorian is fending him off so far but Lukens persists. Nope, Klorian circles away and we're back to standing.

Klorian wants to control but Lukens is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Klorian wants to improve his position but Lukens is controlling well.

Lukens missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klorian looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Klorian can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lukens controls the pace.
Klorian wants to sweep but no luck.

Klorian working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lukens doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lukens manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Klorian is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Klorian has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lukens off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Klorian buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Klorian! Lukens is out on his feet! Klorian rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lukens is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lukens is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
