PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rico Olivarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asteroids Bombereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombereem swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Olivarez misses with a hook to the body
and Bombereem cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Olivarez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bombereem napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bombereem wants to control but Olivarez is having none of it.

Olivarez shoots in and drives through. Bombereem sprawls well.

Bombereem's corner calls for a 1-2. Bombereem obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bombereem.
Olivarez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bombereem finds it's way round the side to connect with Olivarez's head.
Bombereem lands a glancing blow to the side of Olivarez's head.
Bombereem lands a jab to the head.
Bombereem will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bombereem lands a nice shot that snaps Olivarez's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Olivarez moves forwards but Bombereem connects with a nice, crisp jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Olivarez dives in and grabs Bombereem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bombereem pushes down on Olivarez's head and hops out.

Asteroids Bombereem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Olivarez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Olivarez shoots for a takedown but Bombereem saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bombereem swings for the body but Olivarez moves out of range.

Olivarez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
