Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Colbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Kalir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Colbert! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Kalir! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalir shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Colbert counters with a straight right hand. Colbert sizes up Kalir with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Colbert stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Colbert wants it to stay on the feet. Kalir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Colbert lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Colbert connects with an inside leg kick. Kalir moves out of range of the strikes. Kalir tries for a takedown but Colbert circles away easily and Colbert counters with a left and a right that stings Kalir. Cain Colbert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Kalir.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalir tries for a takedown but Colbert circles away easily enabling Colbert to counter with a crisp jab. Kalir has a takedown stuffed. Colbert lands with an overhand left. Kalir fails with the takedown and Colbert counters with a low kick, right behind Kalir 's knee. Kalir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Colbert misses with a hook
and Kalir counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colbert is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kalir's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colbert works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalir trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Colbert has his foot on Kalir's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kalir works his way back into a safe position though. Kalir trying to control but Colbert is working from the bottom. Kalir thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Colbert is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kalir drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kalir jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kalir postures up.

Colbert bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kalir's guard. Kalir is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Colbert defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colbert makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Colbert trying to control the position from guard on top but Kalir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kalir looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Colbert got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalir has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Colbert has managed to get both his arms back between Kalir's legs - danger averted. Kalir looks gassed! Kalir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Colbert defends it easily. Colbert scoring with some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colbert cracks Kalir with a solid left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kalir has momentary wrist control but Colbert slips an elbow through the middle. Kalir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Colbert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Colbert distracts Kalir with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Colbert trying to control but Kalir is working from the bottom. Kalir working for submissions but it's allowed Colbert to get to half guard.
Colbert drops an elbow to the side of Kalir's head. Colbert scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kalir tries to get to full guard but Colbert has control of the leg. Colbert trying to control the pace. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Colbert looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Colbert seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cain Colbert dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Colbert connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A big right from Colbert misses. Colbert throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Colbert lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kalir ducks under a wild hook from Colbert. Kalir fails with the takedown letting Colbert counter with a right hand. Colbert's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kalir under the eye. Kalir gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Colbert counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slow jab from Colbert misses its intended target. Colbert misses with an uppercut. Colbert throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kalir shoots in looking for a takedown. Colbert tries to sprawl out of it but Kalir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Colbert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Cain Colbert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Kalir. Colbert lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Both fighters circling a little - Colbert finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Colbert misses with a series of wild punches.
Kalir tries for a takedown but Colbert circles away easily and Colbert counters with a nice body kick.
Kalir is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colbert swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kalir. Colbert feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kalir's calf. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colbert throws a good cross that connects.
Kalir takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A head kick misses from Colbert. Kalir tries for a takedown but Colbert circles away easily and Colbert counters with a good low kick that Kalir was not able to check. Kalir takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colbert fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kalir doesn't succeed with the takedown and Colbert cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Colbert is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kalir can do to turn this around? Colbert tests Kalir's chin there with a solid looking shot. Colbert will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cain Colbert is winning the standup battle so far. Colbert with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kalir on the wrong end of a nice hook. Colbert connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Kalir takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kalir is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kalir has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Colbert lands with a nice body punch. Kalir walks into a straight right hand from Colbert. Colbert connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kalir gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Colbert slaps away a takedown attempt from Kalir, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kalir takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cain Colbert dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Colbert connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kalir momentarily.
Colbert connects with a jab. A good leg kick by Colbert. Colbert throws a right and a left that both miss. Kalir with a lazy takedown attempt and Colbert counters with a good low kick that Kalir was not able to check. Colbert lands a lovely overhand right. Colbert closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kalir did well to prevent Colbert getting side control. Colbert working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice strikes from Colbert there.
Kalir is rocked! Kalir is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Colbert scores with a couple of nice shots. Kalir is still in real trouble! Can Colbert finish him? Colbert controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Kalir is out! Colbert gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cain Colbert! Cain Colbert retains his super heavyweight title!
