I think Ortiz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Break Stuff. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins throws out a powerful jab.
Leon Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hopkins misses with a looping right.
Hopkins tries a head kick but it misses.
Sloppy strikes from Hopkins. Those never looked like landing.
Hopkins misses with a takedown

and Ortiz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hopkins!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ortiz prevents Hopkins from getting the reversal.
Ortiz scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ortiz fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ortiz postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hopkins in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hopkins to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
