Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remo Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reiji Okazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Remo Williams Theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remo Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reiji Okazaki! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okazaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams takes a swing at Okazaki's ribcage but misses. Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Okazaki. A combination from Williams does no damage. Okazaki rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Williams wants to break free but Okazaki has control.
Okazaki crunches a lovely knee into Williams's ribcage. Okazaki lands an elbow inside that Williams shrugs off. Okazaki lands a nice elbow. Williams softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Williams is trying to break the clinch but Okazaki is controlling him. Williams takes an elbow to the forehead. Williams is fighting off a takedown attempt but Okazaki is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Williams to the mat. Williams regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Okazaki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Williams looks to land a right hand but Okazaki moved out of range. Okazaki lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
