Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diogo Queiroz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boyan Cadell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadell has chosen Run to the Hills as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diogo Queiroz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boyan Cadell! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cadell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Queiroz was covering up waiting for the punch and Cadell finishes the takedown easily into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cadell looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Queiroz keeping full guard, as Cadell tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queiroz looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Queiroz keeping full guard, as Cadell tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cadell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cadell stands up from Queiroz's guard - Cadell perhaps looking for a knockout. Queiroz with a lazy takedown attempt and Cadell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Boyan Cadell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cadell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cadell is looking to advance position but Queiroz won't allow it. Cadell decides to return to a standing position. Cadell misses with a double jab
and Queiroz counters with a takedown into side control. Queiroz is trying to get an arm triangle but Cadell is defending well. Cadell gets back to half guard. Cadell keeping hold of Queiroz's head, controlling as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Queiroz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cadell is just riding it out for now. Queiroz eventually gives up the hold. Queiroz is trying to work for a kimura but Cadell is defending well.

Cadell regains full guard. Nicely done. Queiroz postures up.
Queiroz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cadell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cadell working a defensive guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Queiroz trying to control the position from guard on top but Cadell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Queiroz fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Queiroz. Cadell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Cadell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cadell fails in his attempt to clinch. Cadell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Diogo Queiroz has been cut. Cadell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Queiroz moves away. Cadell lands a left and a right that send Queiroz crashing to the mat, dazed. Cadell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cadell cracks Queiroz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cadell has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Queiroz to stand back up!
Queiroz is rocked! Cadell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cadell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Queiroz sprawls well. Queiroz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cadell gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cadell lands a brutal head kick. Queiroz looks out on his feet and Cadell throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
