The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kowalski circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kowalski.

Kowalski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Kowalski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kowalski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kowalski avoids a punch combination nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kowalski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
