These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronic throws a nice looking combination but McGarrity bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kronic shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGarrity but McGarrity pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No joy there for Kronic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGarrity lands a jab to Kronic's midsection.
Kronic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kronic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McGarrity throws a right hand that Kronic ducks under and follows up with a left that Kronic also avoids with ease.
McGarrity lands a right hook to the body.
Jack Kronic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGarrity throws a nice inside leg kick.

McGarrity tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McGarrity swings for the body but Kronic moves out of range.
