Marie II's entrance music is You´re the voice - John Farnham. A fine choice. Eliza Marie II could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Emilio Ramos's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marie II counters with a series of strikes. Ramos will be more careful next time no doubt.
A punch combination from Ramos misses.
Ramos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marie II circles away quickly and effectively.
Ramos ducks under a wild hook from Marie II.
Marie II walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Eliza Marie II has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ramos throws a leg kick
and Marie II counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ramos lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ramos just misses with a punch to the body.

and Marie II counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Marie II counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ramos won't be happy with that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Marie II's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ramos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marie II scrambles back to his feet.
Ramos throws a poor cross that misses
and Marie II counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Marie II jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Emilio Ramos has been cut.
Ramos throws a predictable looking body shot
and Marie II counters with a crisp one two that drops Ramos! Marie II thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ramos to his feet! Ramos is in big trouble!
Ramos looks gassed!
The fighters circle momentarily. Marie II darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ramos is rocked!
Marie II misses with a right hand
and Ramos counters with a nice uppercut.
Ramos connects with a solid leg kick.

and Ramos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Ramos is still on wobbly legs! Can Marie II finish him?

Ramos seems to have recovered his senses.

and Marie II counters with a stiff right hand.
Ramos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ramos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marie II moves away.
Ramos works the jab nicely.
Emilio Ramos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ramos takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Marie II counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ramos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Marie II cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That has opened up Emilio Ramos's cut even more.
Marie II throws a series of punches but Ramos avoids them all with ease.
A low kick from Ramos is predictable there
and Marie II counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Ramos off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Marie II follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Ramos was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Eliza Marie II!
