The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crocota rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Souza moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Souza dodges the punch combination from Crocota.

Crocota throws a nice looking combination but Souza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Crocota counters with a left and a right that stings Souza.

Crocota dips to his left and cracks Souza with an uppercut!
Crocota will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Crocota counters with a stiff right hand.
Crocota sizes up Souza with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crocota throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Souza moves to clinch but Crocota breaks away
and Crocota cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Crocota connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Souza momentarily.
Crocota cracks Souza with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Edilberto Crocota is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
