Naglis Kaunietis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan lands with a hook. Kaunietis tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sullivan rushes Kaunietis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sullivan manages to break the clinch.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Sullivan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kaunietis controls Sullivan momentarily but Sullivan frees himself.
Sullivan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kaunietis is looking to regain half guard here but Sullivan keeps moving and retains side control.
Kaunietis on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sullivan lands a nice forearm strike.
Sullivan lands a decent elbow from side control.
Sullivan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kaunietis struggling a bit here.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Sullivan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kaunietis down.
Kaunietis is looking for a sweep.
Kaunietis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sullivan on the ground.
Sullivan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Kaunietis is breathing heavily.

Sullivan darts in and clinches Kaunietis up against the cage.
Sullivan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kaunietis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sullivan lunges at Kaunietis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kaunietis's hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sullivan drops Kaunietis with a right and a left! Sullivan comes rushing in but Kaunietis regains his composure and manages to keep Sullivan in guard.
Kaunietis is rocked!
Sullivan slips nicely into half guard.
Oh Kaunietis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sullivan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sullivan cracks Kaunietis with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
