Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Busta Rhymes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - If you want Blood (You've got it). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rhymes's choice of entrance music: Winter Warz. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rhymes throws a leg kick that is checked and Pain counters with a left and a right that stings Rhymes. Pain throws out a loose jab but Rhymes uses good head movement to avoid it. Pain misses with a hook
enabling Rhymes to counter with a crisp jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Rhymes. Pain does a little dance to reset his feet. Rhymes throws a head kick but Pain moves out of range.
Rhymes staying out of range there. Rhymes throws a looping overhand right but Pain ducks down to avoid it. Rhymes misses the jab. Rhymes ducks under a wild hook from Pain. Pain scores with a jab to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Dee Pain will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Pain gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A cross from Pain lands. Rhymes misses with a left hand and Pain counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Pain trying to control from half guard but Rhymes is working away. Rhymes wants to get back to full guard but Pain has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rhymes misses with punches from the back. Pain breaks Rhymes's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Rhymes is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Pain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rhymes is trying to control the position but Pain postures up. Rhymes seems keen to control Pain's posture. Pain is stalling in the full guard. Rhymes pulls Pain in to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Busta Rhymes was stalling too much, according to the referee. Pain throws a good cross that connects.

Pain is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Rhymes lands a jab to the nose. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rhymes, as that shot connected.

Rhymes is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Rhymes keeping moving, preventing Pain from controlling successfully. Rhymes managing to control the position. Pain preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pain trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pain ducks right into an uppercut from Rhymes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rhymes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pain checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Rhymes looks to throw the jab but Pain is out of range. Pain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rhymes has time to react.

and Rhymes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rhymes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pain throws out the jab. Pain lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Pain is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pain won't allow Rhymes to sweep him here. Rhymes managing to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rhymes throws a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rhymes misses with a hook
and Pain counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pain rushes Rhymes and presses him up against the cage. Rhymes has had enough of the clinch but Pain keeps him there for the moment. A head punch on the inside from Pain fails to land. Pain keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rhymes's efforts to push away. Nice body punch from Pain. Dee Pain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rhymes moves forwards but Pain connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rhymes has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Pain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dee Pain is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rhymes wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pain manages to pass to side control. Rhymes is staying active underneath Pain, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rhymes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Rhymes working a defensive guard here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rhymes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rhymes is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Pain is in close to Rhymes's body, working some short punches and elbows.
