Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). AJ Taylor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earp wants to clinch up but Taylor keeps it at a distance.
Earp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Earp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Earp throws a head kick but Taylor moves out of range.
Earp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Virgil Earp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Earp tries a head kick but it misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Earp.
Taylor tries to clinch but Earp is having none of it.
Earp staying out of range there.
Earp misses with a left hand
and Taylor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Earp's guard now.

Taylor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Earp controls Taylor momentarily but Taylor frees himself.

Earp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Taylor is one step ahead there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Earp wants to stand and escape but Taylor is having none of it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Taylor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Taylor gets to his feet - Earp follows without any prompting.
Earp tries to clinch
and Taylor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Taylor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Earp is breathing heavily.
Taylor won't allow Earp to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Taylor scoring with some ground and pound.
Taylor chips away with some ground and pound.
Taylor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Taylor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Taylor drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Taylor seems to have locked his on tight now - Earp screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Taylor, as he picks up the win!
