Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cole Coal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Zinfandel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cole Coal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zak Zinfandel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Zinfandel shoots in for a double leg but Coal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fighters circle momentarily. Coal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Zinfandel throws a hook but Coal blocks it. Zinfandel throws a leg kick and Coal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Zinfandel chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Zinfandel takes a kick to the side of the head. Coal fails to land with a series of punches.
Coal swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zinfandel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coal but Coal pushes him off and we're back to square one. A lazy body kick from Zinfandel and Coal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Coal lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Coal lands with a kick to the temple. Zinfandel shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

A left lands for Coal. Coal is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Coal delivers a nice body kick. Coal pivots, looking for a leg kick but Zinfandel is out of range and Coal settles back down. Coal connects with a high kick.
It looks like Zak Zinfandel has been cut. A solid leg kick lands there for Zinfandel.
Both fighters circling a little - Coal finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Coal lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Coal. Coal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Coal wants it to stay on the feet. Cole Coal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zak Zinfandel. Zinfandel takes a head kick and keeps coming.

This has been an exciting period of action! Coal throws a wild body kick that Zinfandel sees coming a mile off. Zinfandel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Zinfandel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coal swivels and escapes. Coal lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Zinfandel is trying desperately to land a takedown but Coal is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Zinfandel. Zinfandel misses the body punch and Coal counters with a stiff right hand. Coal scores with a head kick.

Cole Coal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coal lands a nice looking kick to the body. Zinfandel takes a step back to recover. Zinfandel throws a poor cross that misses

That's four minutes gone in the round. Zinfandel misses with a takedown and Coal counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Coal lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zinfandel's sensitive parts. Excellent takedown into side control there by Zinfandel. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coal is looking to reverse the position. Zinfandel connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Coal some visible discomfort.
Coal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zinfandel on the ground. Coal is trying to escape and get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zinfandel misses with the ground and pound. Coal tries to bench press Zinfandel off him but Zinfandel keeps the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Coal dominated that round. The cut man is working on Zak Zinfandel's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Coal lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Zinfandel throws a push kick but Coal slaps the foot to one side. Zinfandel has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Coal. Coal scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Coal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A low kick from Zinfandel is predictable there and Coal counters with a head kick. That will keep Zinfandel thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Coal uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zinfandel. Zinfandel closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Coal quickly recovers to half guard. Coal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Coal tries to kick Zinfandel off but Zinfandel keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Coal trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coal is looking to escape. Zinfandel is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Coal in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Zinfandel is working for a guillotine from mount but Coal frees his head quite easily.

Zinfandel with good strikes from the mount here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zinfandel trying to control but Coal is having none of it. A nice elbow there by Zinfandel. Zinfandel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Coal looks a forlorn figure.
Coal is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Zinfandel raining down hammerfists from mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zinfandel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A close second round but Zak Zinfandel will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Zak Zinfandel's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
