The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overdreem wants to clinch
and Epps counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Overdreem looks to score with a jab to the body but Epps is just out of range.
Overdreem lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Epps sprawling to the canvas. Overdreem follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Epps hang on?
It looks like Aaron Epps has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Epps is trying to stand.
Overdreem stands up out of the half guard.
Overdreem misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Overdreem is looking to clinch but Epps is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Overdreem connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Epps to the floor! Overdreem dives in looking for the finish!
Epps is rocked!
Overdreem escapes and gets back to his feet.
Oh Epps is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Epps stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Overdreem.
Epps is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Overdreem circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Epps tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Overdreem wins by KO!
