The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Silva misses with a kick to the body.
Boy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva is not content to let Boy control the position.
Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boy cracks Silva with a big right hand but Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Boy has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Boy working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Boy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Silva is squirming around, avoiding Boy's attempts to control the action.
