Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Air Canada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slater Lowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Air Canada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slater Lowman! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lowman tries to clinch up. Canada rushes Lowman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lowman tries a knee to the head but Canada blocks it.
Canada fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Canada has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lowman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Canada ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Canada no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Lowman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Canada controls Lowman momentarily but Lowman frees himself. Canada preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lowman wanted to stand there but Canada had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Canada is on top in guard.
Canada pushes down on Lowman's leg and manages to get into half guard. Canada throwing shots but Lowman is blocking nicely. Canada looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lowman is looking to escape. Lowman won't allow Canada to pass to mount. Lowman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Canada is working away from the top position though. Canada looks to land a strike but Lowman avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Lowman wants to stand up but Canada is controlling him. Canada looking to pass the guard. Lowman is looking to stand back up but Canada counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lowman. Canada seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lowman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lowman wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Canada wants to control but Lowman is keeping him busy. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lowman is controlling Canada's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Air Canada wasn't doing enough on the ground. No luck for Canada with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Air Canada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lowman moves into the clinch. Lowman landing knees to the head.

Lowman scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Air Canada has been cut. Canada shoots and misses and Lowman counters with a left and a right that stings Canada. Canada is breathing heavily. A head kick misses from Lowman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lowman throws a combination that misses and Canada counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Canada. Canada throwing strikes from guard but Lowman blocks nicely. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Canada thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Canada sitting in guard, not really doing much. Lowman wants to stand and escape but Canada is having none of it. Lowman wriggles free and stands up. Canada tries for a takedown but Lowman circles away easily letting Lowman counter with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Canada needs to keep his hands up - Lowman had a free shot at his head there. Nice body kick there by Lowman. Canada keeps the fight on the outside. Lowman moves in looking to clinch but Canada pushes him off. Lowman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slater Lowman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Canada fails to land the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lowman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slater Lowman dominated that round. The cut man is working on Air Canada's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Lowman moves in looking to clinch but Canada pushes him off. Lowman stuffs the takedown. Canada with a poor takedown and Lowman counters with a series of strikes. Canada will be more careful next time no doubt. Lowman misses with a left hand and Canada counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Canada is fighting to break Lowman's control of his arms but Lowman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Canada stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lowman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lowman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lowman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Canada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lowman pulls Canada in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lowman can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Slater Lowman wasn't active enough on the ground. Lowman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Canada doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lowman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Air Canada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Canada with a lazy takedown attempt and Lowman counters with a slapping leg kick. Canada avoids a kick to the body.
Canada tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lowman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Canada somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by Lowman. Lowman with a jab. Lowman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Canada circles away quickly and effectively. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Canada checks a leg kick. Canada with a poor takedown and Lowman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lowman tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lowman throws a shot from downtown. Canada moves away and avoids it. Canada tries for a takedown but Lowman circles away easily and Lowman finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Lowman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Canada. Canada has his takedown stuffed enabling Lowman to counter with a crisp jab. Lowman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lowman just misses with a punch to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lowman looks to land a combination but Canada avoids it well. Lowman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Canada ducks under a wild hook from Lowman. Lowman misses with the combination.
Slater Lowman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Canada misses with a takedown attempt and Lowman counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Air Canada is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Canada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lowman counters with a three punch combo that has Canada backing up. Canada nods at Lowman to acknowledge the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slater Lowman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Air Canada's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Lowman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Canada paws at him with a jab and circles away. Canada keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Canada staying out of range there. Lowman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Canada wants to control from the top but Lowman keeps moving. Canada thows a big elbow that misses. Lowman is looking to stand up but Canada isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Canada wants to control from the top but Lowman keeps moving. Lowman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Canada is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lowman looking to control.
Canada stands up from Lowman's guard - Canada perhaps looking for a knockout. Canada has his takedown stuffed and Lowman counters with a straight right hand. Lowman misses with a low kick. Lowman misses with a double jab
and Canada counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lowman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Canada is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lowman has managed to free his arm - good work. Lowman won't allow Canada to pass to mount. Lowman is trying to stand back up but Canada is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lowman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Canada. Lowman is trying to stand up here but Canada is controlling him well. Lowman on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Canada is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lowman sees it coming and defends easily. Canada wants to control but Lowman is keeping him busy. Lowman kicks off Canada and gets to his feet. Lowman lands a jab to the head.
Canada with a poor takedown and Lowman counters with a three punch combo that has Canada backing up. Canada nods at Lowman to acknowledge the strikes. Canada fails with the takedown and Lowman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Air Canada. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Canada misses with a takedown attempt and Lowman counters with an outside leg kick.
Lowman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Canada takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Canada dives in and grabs Lowman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lowman pushes down on Canada's head and hops out. Lowman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Air Canada has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Slater Lowman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Canada lands a slapping body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Air Canada showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lowman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
