The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Sakuraba.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sakuraba.
Left hook, right uppercut from Khan.
Khan throws a series of punches but Sakuraba avoids them all with ease.
Khan throws a nice looking combination but Sakuraba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A punch lands to the side of Sakuraba 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A looping hook to the body misses from Khan. Sakuraba does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sakuraba connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Khan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Khan throws a jab when Sakuraba was well out of range.
Khan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sakuraba makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sakuraba closes the distance and clinches.

It looks like Mogul Khan has been cut.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Sakuraba throws an elbow but misses.
Khan takes an elbow to the temple.
Sakuraba lands a shot to the body.

Sakuraba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Khan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sakuraba circles away quickly and effectively.

Khan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That kick from Sakuraba tenderised Khan's leg. Khan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sakuraba fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Khan checks it well.

Khan swings for the body but Sakuraba moves out of range.

and Khan counters with a one-two to the body.
Sakuraba connects with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sakuraba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Khan misses with a double jab
and Sakuraba counters with a crisp one two that drops Khan! Sakuraba thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Khan to his feet! Khan is in big trouble!
Sloppy strikes from Sakuraba. Those never looked like landing.

Sakuraba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sakuraba rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Khan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Sakuraba counters with a crisp one two that drops Khan! Sakuraba thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Khan to his feet! Khan is in big trouble!

Good leg kick by Sakuraba there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Sakuraba counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Khan! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Sakuraba!
