The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Forelli with that takedown attempt.

Forelli will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Forelli tries to bum rush Lesnar with a series of wild strikes but Lesnar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lesnar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Lesnar counters with a three punch combo that has Forelli backing up. Forelli nods at Lesnar to acknowledge the strikes.

Forelli lands with a hook. Lesnar tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Forelli is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Forelli counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lesnar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Lesnar counters with a right hand to the body.

and Lesnar counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Forelli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lesnar manages to avoid it.
Forelli gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lesnar counters with a stiff right hand.
Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lesnar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Forelli. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Forelli looks to land a combination but Lesnar avoids it well.

Lesnar has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Forelli - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Lesnar, and another! Forelli is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
