The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mano avoids the body shot from Hawkings.
Hawkings ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Hawkings misses the target.

Hawkings gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mano to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mano wants to pass the guard but Hawkings is keeping the position.

Mano looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hawkings with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mano throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hawkings was covering up waiting for the punch and Mano finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mano postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hawkings knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mano on the ground.

Mano is landing with some decent strikes but Hawkings is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The referee warns Hawkings that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mano postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hawkings badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mano around the waist but Mano pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mano is the winner by TKO! Mano jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
