Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viserys Targaryen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Fereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Targaryen comes to the cage accompanied by Roy Jones Jr. - Can't be touched. Viserys Targaryen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fereira has his takedown stuffed

and Targaryen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Targaryen.
Targaryen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Targaryen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Targaryen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fereira dives on top into guard.

Fereira is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Targaryen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Targaryen has escaped and now he's on top!

Targaryen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fereira is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Targaryen, into his guard.

Targaryen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fereira asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Targaryen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fereira was covering up waiting for the punch and Targaryen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Targaryen moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fereira has worked his arm free - good work by Fereira!

Targaryen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fereira, who protects the arm well.

Targaryen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Targaryen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Targaryen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fereira has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Targaryen but great work by Fereira.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Targaryen can't do much from the bottom here.

Fereira decides to stand back up.
Fereira moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Fereira's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fereira duly obliges.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Targaryen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fereira doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Targaryen.
