Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Korba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by England belongs to me. Ray Gunn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Ray Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Erwin Korba! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korba closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gunn is not content to let Korba control the position. Korba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gunn has escaped the position, nice work there. Korba trying to control the position but Gunn is working away. Gunn is looking for a sweep. Gunn is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Korba tries for a kimura but Gunn is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korba is trying to get an arm triangle but Gunn is defending well. Korba working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korba working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Korba is looking to take a break and control but Gunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gunn is trying to improve his position. Korba prevents Gunn from escaping the position. Korba throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Korba is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gunn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gunn wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korba tries for a kimura but Gunn is defending well. Korba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gunn keeps working. Korba is trying to get an arm triangle but Gunn is defending well. Korba is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gunn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Korba wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gunn, who protects the arm well. Korba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Korba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gunn pushes Korba away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Korba gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erwin Korba dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gunn lets loose with a powerful body kick. Korba will feel that in the morning. Good work by Korba as he checks the leg kick. Gunn scores with a head kick. Korba tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Korba takes a kick to the side of the head. Gunn misses with a leg kick. Korba fails with the takedown and Gunn counters with an outside leg kick.
Korba on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gunn. Gunn obviously looking to wear him down.
Gunn tries a head kick but it misses.
Korba misses with an uppercut
and Gunn makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick from Gunn lands but Korba takes it in his stride. Korba takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gunn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A low kick from Korba misses and Gunn counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Erwin Korba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Korba misses with a double jab
and Gunn counters with an inside leg kick. Gunn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Korba's sensitive parts. Gunn throws a nice inside leg kick. Korba scores a takedown into full mount! Korba landing punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn working to try and regain half guard.
Gunn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Korba jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gunn is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gunn and Korba has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Gunn is trying to control Korba's posture but Korba avoids it. Korba has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Gunn. Korba looking to score a takedown here. Gunn is defending well but Korba drives through and ends up in Gunn's guard. Korba is fighting to break Gunn's control of his arms but Gunn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Gunn looking to control.
Korba trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Korba drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gunn dives on top into guard. Gunn won't allow Korba to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Korba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Korba bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gunn's guard. Korba has gone for a leg lock! Gunn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Korba's guard. Gunn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gunn won't allow Korba to sweep him here. Gunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Korba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Gunn dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Korba clinches. A short right from Gunn. Gunn tries a knee to the head but Korba blocks it.
Korba on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Korba blocks an elbow strike. Korba pulls Gunn into guard.
Gunn wants to control from the top but Korba keeps moving. Gunnis looking to pass into half guard but Korba pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Korba is in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korba preventing the sweep. Korba lands a couple of digs. Korba is looking to work some ground and pound but Gunn has wrist control. Korba drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Korba seems to have locked his on tight now - Gunn screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Korba, as he picks up the win!
