Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Blessed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronan Hollace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blessed comes to the cage accompanied by Anarchy In The UK. Hollace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Outside by Staind kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ronan Hollace is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronan Hollace! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blessed rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hollace counters with a leg kick. Hollace misses with a few strikes there.

and Blessed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hollace fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Blessed on the side of the head. Hollace throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blessed moves into range and connects with a jab. Hollace fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hollace takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Blessed takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hollace is trying hard to land a takedown here. Blessed sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Blessed connects with a body shot.

Hollace drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blessed is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hollace is controlling him well. Hollace has knee on belly and moves into mount. Hollace with good strikes from the mount here! Blessed really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ronan Hollace dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Blessed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hollace moves away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hollace. Hollace throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ground and pound from Hollace seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Hollace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blessed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hollace working the strikes but Blessed uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hollace throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hollace missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hollace thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hollace not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hollace is looking to pass Blessed's guard but actually Blessed recovers to full guard. Hollace throwing strikes but missing. Blessed preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hollace pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blessed is keeping the position for now. Blessed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blessed tries to get out of the position. Hollace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hollace lands a decent elbow from side control. Hollace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hollace trying to control the position but Blessed is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hollace working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hollace tries to score with some ground and pound. Blessed controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Blessed is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hollace has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hollace tries to advance to mount but Blessed denies him. Hollace is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blessed knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hollace advances to full mount. Hollace throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronan Hollace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Blessed connects with a single shot there. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Blessed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blessed checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Hollace looks to land a left hand but Blessed moved out of range nicely. Ronan Hollace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Hollace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A shot to the liver by Hollace. Beautiful body shot. Blessed throws a body punch but Hollace moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hollace misses with a lunging right hand
and Blessed counters with a stiff right hand. Hollace lands with a hook. Blessed tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hollace throws a looping overhand right but Blessed ducks down to avoid it. Blessed ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hollace looks for the body kick but Blessed saw that one coming. Hollace throws a poor cross that misses
and Blessed counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Blessed scores with a hook to the body. Hollace takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hollace swings widly with a right hand
and Blessed counters with a straight right hand. Blessed jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hollace ducks under a wild hook from Blessed. Hollace punishes Blessed's body with a nice straight punch. Brian Blessed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hollace moves out of range as Blessed strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hollace swings and misses with a shot to the body and Blessed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Blessed showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hollace has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
