Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad The Impaler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is Wild Boyz. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying The Impaler's choice of entrance music: Δράκων . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and The Impaler is able to avoid easily.

Silva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Silva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Silva has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The Impaler cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Silva looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can The Impaler finish him?

Silva throws a front kick aimed at The Impaler's knee but The Impaler avoids it well.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to The Impaler's calf.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
The Impaler lands a big right hand that sends Silva crashing to the mat! The Impaler stays standing though and waves Silva back to his feet!
Silva lands with a nice body kick.
The Impaler cracks Silva with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Silva tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but The Impaler pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Silva is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vlad The Impaler!
