Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Franco!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coll feints and as Franco raises his hands in defense, Coll changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Coll is looking to work some ground and pound but Franco has wrist control.
Franco working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Coll.
Coll throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Franco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Franco bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Coll's guard.
Coll is adopting a defensive guard.
Franco working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coll's head.
Coll lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Franco!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Franco can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Coll cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coll scoring with strikes but Franco is staying in there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like George Franco has been cut.
Coll has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Coll lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Franco tries to lock up and control but Coll gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Franco is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Coll pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Franco is wriggling around trying to escape.

Coll breaks from Franco's wrist control and lands an elbow.

George Franco's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at George Franco's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
