The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas shoots and misses

and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Johnson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Thomas is trying to keep Johnson in close.
Johnson postures up in Thomas's guard and throws a big left but Thomas blocks it.
