Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Contreras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Graham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sterling Contreras! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graham explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Graham keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Contreras changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Graham tries to avoid it but Contreras manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Graham to the ground. Graham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Contreras is trying hard to land a takedown here. Graham sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Marcus Graham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sterling Contreras. Graham displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Contreras. Contreras looks gassed! Graham moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Graham lands with a slapping head kick. Contreras shoots in but no luck this time. Graham scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Contreras has a takedown stuffed. Graham dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Contreras. That did some damage!

Contreras has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Graham lands a high kick!
Contreras misses with a takedown attempt and Graham counters with a head kick. That will keep Contreras thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Graham scores with a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Graham. No joy for Contreras on that attempt. Sterling Contreras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graham throws a nice head kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Graham tries to close the distance and clinch but Contreras swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Graham throws a nice head kick!
Graham lands with a kick to the temple. Contreras shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Graham throws a head kick that half lands.
Graham tries to clinch but Contreras moves out of range. Graham fails in his attempt to clinch. Contreras takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Contreras throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Graham's waist but Graham gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Contreras off to one side. Graham scores with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graham lands with a kick to the temple. Contreras shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Contreras shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Graham throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Contreras's head. Graham closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Contreras tries to pull guard but Graham won't allow it.
Graham has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Contreras uses from the top position. Contreras is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Graham keeping moving, preventing Contreras from controlling successfully. Contreras controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Graham is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Contreras defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Contreras seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. It looks like Contreras might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sterling Contreras was stalling too much, according to the referee. Graham moves in looking to clinch but Contreras pushes him off. Contreras misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Graham ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Contreras gets slowly back to his feet. Contreras shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Graham as he avoids it easily. Graham throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Contreras. Contreras fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Graham moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Graham dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Contreras is looking to control Graham's arms but Graham gets an underhook and turns him. Now Contreras has his back to the cage. Graham drops down looking for an ankle pick but Contreras pulls his leg out and moves away.

Contreras is trying to control. Graham wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Contreras prevents Graham from improving his position. Contreras is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Contreras's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sterling Contreras wasn't active enough on the ground. Contreras shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Graham sprawls well. Graham wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Contreras gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Graham lands a high kick!
Contreras shoots in looking for a takedown but Graham manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Contreras's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Graham throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Contreras's head. That kick from Graham tenderised Contreras's leg. Contreras is trying to keep his angry face on. Contreras takes a kick to the side of the head. Sterling Contreras has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marcus Graham is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Contreras misses with a body punch
and Graham counters with an outside leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Graham showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Graham, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
