The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stringer jabs at Jenkins's body.
Jenkins fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jenkins gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Stringer manages to break the clinch.
Stringer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stringer throws a right and a left that Jenkins avoids nicely.

Jenkins rushes Stringer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stringer takes an elbow to the temple.
Jenkins pressing his opponent against the cage.
Stringer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jenkins stalls.
Jenkins looking to throw knees to the head but Stringer is blocking nicely.
Stringer wants to get back to striking at distance but Jenkins won't allow it.

Stringer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Stringer.
Stringer scores with a jab to the head.
Stringer throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jenkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jenkins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jenkins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Jenkins is rocked!

Jenkins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stringer, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Jenkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jenkins is stalling here.
Jenkins seems to have got his legs back now.
Jenkins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jenkins tries to pull guard but Stringer won't allow it.
Stringer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage.
Stringer has had enough of the clinch but Jenkins keeps him there for the moment.
Stringer is trying to break the clinch but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage.
Jenkins lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Stringer can't break the clinch.

Stringer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jenkins can't fight it off and eventually Stringer manages to take the fight to the floor. Jenkins looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Stringer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stringer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jenkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Stringer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jenkins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jenkins is breathing heavily.

Stringer sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Jenkins doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Stringer paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Jenkins - great work!
