Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kron Kenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes into the arena with Bat Counrty by Avenged Sevenfold blaring out of the sound system. Shane Griffin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenny has his takedown stuffed
and Griffin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice uppercut there from Griffin.
Kenny doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Griffin counters with a straight right hand.
Kenny shoots and misses
and Kenny takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shane Griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kron Kenny.
Griffin feints a jab promting Kenny to slip. Griffin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kenny slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kenny gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Griffin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Griffin lands with a hook. Kenny tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Griffin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Griffin connects with a nice looking jab.
Kenny is still on wobbly legs! Can Griffin finish him?
Kenny takes one on the button.
Griffin cracks Kenny with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Griffin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kenny to stand back up!
Griffin connects with a superb combination that knocks Kenny out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Griffin before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Kenny!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Shane Griffin!
