Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renaldo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Os Mutantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mutantes has chosen El Justiciero as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Os Mutantes!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutantes misses with a takedown
and Diaz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Diaz.
Diaz landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Mutantes tries to pull guard but Diaz won't allow it.
Diaz stalling.
Diaz working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Mutantes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Renaldo Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Os Mutantes.
Diaz is pressed up against the cage. Mutantes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Diaz down to the mat. Diaz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mutantes has his takedown stuffed
and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Diaz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Diaz throws and elbow that misses. Mutantes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Diaz's guard. Nice move by Mutantes!
Mutantes wants to pass the guard but Diaz is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutantes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diaz dives on top into guard.
Diaz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Diaz forces his way into half guard.

Diaz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mutantes is trying to get back to full guard.
Diaz seems to be working for a kimura but Mutantes defends the submission attempt.
Diaz wants to pass the guard but Mutantes is defending well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mutantes keeps working.
Mutantes is trying to stand back up but Diaz is controlling him

Mutantes moves into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Diaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mutantes's guard.
Diaz perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Diaz working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Mutantes's thigh. Mutantes counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Diaz throws a strike but Mutantes rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Diaz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mutantes is one step ahead there.
Mutantes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mutantes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mutantes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Diaz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mutantes, into his guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mutantes shoots and misses
and Diaz counters with a shoot takedown. Mutantes fights it but they end up in guard.
Diaz pushing down on Mutantes's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Diaz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Diaz wants to take a breather but Mutantes is having none of it.
Diaz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mutantes!
Mutantes can't escape the position.
Diaz unloads with some shots from mount but Mutantes bucks and avoids them well.

Diaz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Diaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mutantes is looking to escape.
Diaz throws some wild stikes that Mutantes manages to avoid easily.
Diaz fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A nice elbow there by Diaz.
Diaz goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mutantes is on top in guard.
Diaz working for a triangle but Mutantes defends it easily.

Diaz has his hands on Mutantes's head, controlling the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Diaz is on top in guard.
Mutantes wants to stand up but Diaz is controlling him.
Mutantes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Diaz controls the pace.

Diaz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mutantes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Diaz has Mutantes in his guard.
Mutantes tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard.
Mutantes drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Mutantes off! Mutantes jumps back into Diaz's guard.
Mutantes postures up.
Diaz trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Diaz pulls Mutantes in to control the position.
Mutantes is posturing up here but Diaz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Mutantes tries to roll out but it's too tight and Mutantes has to tap! Slick submission there by Diaz!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Renaldo Diaz!
