Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Maginnis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Jedi mind Tricks - On the Eve of War as his entrance music. Mike Maginnis looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Maginnis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tito Diaz! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maginnis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Maginnis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Maginnis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Diaz looks to clinch and Maginnis counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Diaz is defending against the submission attempts here by Maginnis.
Diaz works his way to full guard. Good work. Diaz wants to sweep here but Maginnis controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maginnis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maginnis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Maginnis wants to pass the guard but Diaz is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maginnis wants to stand and escape but instead Diaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Diaz looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maginnis keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully. Diaz drops back, looking for a kneebar! Maginnis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Maginnis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Maginnis! Diaz gets back to half guard. Maginnis is breathing heavily. Maginnis is looking for a kimura but Diaz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Maginnis to get the leverage. Diaz trying to control but Maginnis postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Diaz looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Maginnis is working for a kimura but Diaz is defending it quite comfortably.
Maginnis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Maginnis is thwarting Diaz's attempts to control the position. Diaz moves into full guard.
Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Diaz is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Maginnis frees his head nicely. Oh but Diaz has switched to an armbar! Maginnis is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
