Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Panse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cornelius Kraft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kraft has chosen till I collapse as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cornelius Kraft is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Panse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cornelius Kraft! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraft on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Panse explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kraft wants to clinch and Panse counters with a one-two to the body. Panse closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Panse lands in his opponent's guard. Kraft keeping full guard, as Panse tries to pass. Kraft not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Panse stands up and waves to Kraft to follow him. Kraft with a poor takedown and Panse counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Panse. Kraft takes an elbow to the forehead. Kraft tries to land a knee to the head but Panse blocks with his arms.

Jim Panse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cornelius Kraft. Panse lands an elbow inside. Panse comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panse leaning his opponent against the cage. Nice elbow from Panse. Kraft gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kraft is stalling here. Panse is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kraft seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Panse has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Panse controls the position. Panse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Panse tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kraft avoids it. Panse throws a knee to the head but misses.

Panse comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Kraft wants a takedown.
Panse creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kraft's defenses. Kraft tries to pull guard but Panse holds him up against the cage and eventually Kraft drops back down to his feet.
Kraft connects with a nasty looking knee right to Panse's face.

Panse seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Kraft won't allow Panse to sweep him here. Panse has his hands on Kraft's head, controlling the position. Kraft trying to control the position from guard on top but Panse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Panse circles away from the clinch attempt and Panse counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Panse digs a right hand into Kraft's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kraft's gas tank. Kraft tries to break the clinch but Panse is controlling the position. Kraft goes for a takedown attempt but Panse pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cornelius Kraft seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Panse gets a clinch. Panse leaning his opponent against the cage. Panse lands an elbow that stopped Kraft in his tracks for a moment. Kraft trying to control the position but instead, Panse has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kraft into the cage. Kraft seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. Panse dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Panse lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kraft backwards. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Panse dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Panse throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Kraft closes the distance looking to clinch and Panse counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kraft closes the distance but Panse moves to the side and Panse counters with a shoot takedown. Kraft fights it but they end up in guard. Panse passes Kraft's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Panse moves into full mount! Kraft won't be happy about that! Kraft is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Panse looking to finish Kraft with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kraft! Panse content just to control the position here. Kraft is working to get back to half guard.
Panse controlling the pace for now. Panse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kraft for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jim Panse just wasn't active enough. Panse scores with a nice head shot. Panse goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kraft takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kraft takes a body punch but keeps moving. Panse shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kraft's guard. Panse seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kraft looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Panse has picked Kraft up and slammed him! Kraft can't keep hold of the triangle and Panse manages to pass to side control! Panse controlling the position from side mount. Kraft is looking for a sweep. Kraft is being controlled here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

With the fighters up against the cage, Panse throws an elbow but misses. Panse pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
