Mclovin comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls On Parade . Pearl has chosen yes as his entrance music. Mclovin Mclovin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclovin misses with a takedown attempt
and Pearl counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mclovin darts in trying to clinch
and Pearl connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mclovin wants to clinch but Pearl slips to the side

and Pearl counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mclovin 's guard now.
Pearl with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pearl missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Mclovin has his foot on Pearl's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pearl works his way back into a safe position though.
Mclovin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pearl is one step ahead there.
Pearl chips away with some ground and pound.
Pearl is in close to Mclovin 's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Pearl postures up in Mclovin 's guard and throws a big left but Mclovin blocks it.

Pearl slips nicely into half guard.

Mclovin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pearl defends well.
Pearl pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mclovin is keeping the position for now.

Pearl has gone for a leg lock! Mclovin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pearl's guard.
Pearl is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pearl escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mclovin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mclovin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pearl's head.
Pearl looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mclovin is one step ahead there.

Mclovin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pearl has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mclovin has managed to get both his arms back between Pearl's legs - danger averted.

Mclovin gets to his feet. Pearl looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Mclovin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Pearl counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Mclovin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mclovin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mclovin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mclovin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pearl pushes down on Mclovin 's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pearl throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mclovin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pearl lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Ground and pound from Pearl.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pearl is pressing down on Mclovin 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mclovin is holding on for now.
Mclovin wants to get back to his feet.
Mclovin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mclovin tries to roll over but Pearl keeps him under control.

Mclovin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pearl slips a nice elbow through Mclovin 's hands, connecting with Mclovin 's forehead.
Pearl throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Pearl dominated that round.
That's time! Mclovin 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A big left from Pearl misses.
Mclovin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pearl swivels and escapes.
Mclovin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pearl lands a right hook to the body.

Pearl shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mclovin 's guard.
Pearl throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mclovin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Pearl works over Mclovin with some ground and pound from guard.

Pearl has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mclovin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pearl is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mclovin pulls down on the head and he's put Pearl to sleep! This one is all over!
