Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Didier Diane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diane comes into the arena with Let's Get it blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diane misses with a combination
and Spliff counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Diane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Diane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spliff.

Diane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spliff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Spliff shoots in and drives through. Diane sprawls well.

Spliff forces Diane back against the cage and clinches.

Diane tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Spliff's elbow.

Spliff's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Spliff shoots in looking for a takedown but Diane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Spliff's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Didier Diane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mustaffa Spliff.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Spliff connects with a nice short shot to Diane's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spliff not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Diane is not content to let Spliff control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mustaffa Spliff dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Diane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Spliff has his feet on Diane's thighs here. He's pushed Diane off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Diane screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
