Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Perry! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Some wild striking there from Perry.
Perry scores with a spinning back kick! Perry circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Perry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Perry. Perry lands an elbow inside. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Perry has him pressed against the cage. Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Perry gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Knees to the body from Perry.
Perry manages to break the clinch.
Perry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Perry gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Perry has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jones regains guard immediately. Perry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Perry has Jones in his guard. Perry has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jones off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry pushes Jones away with a front kick. Perry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. Perry leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edward Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perry moves into the clinch. Perry has Jones pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Perry pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jones tumbling to the mat - Perry dives into Jones's guard. Perry is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him. Perry with a nice head shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perry stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sean Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones walks forward, straight into a front kick from Perry. Perry connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Perry lands a head kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Perry. Jones is breathing heavily. A solid leg kick lands there for Perry.
A good leg kick by Perry. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perry chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Perry drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Perry wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. Perry lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Perry postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Perry stops Jones from standing up. Perry works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jones on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Perry is looking for a kimura here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
Perry passes to side control. Jones taking punishment in the form of punches.
Perry works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Perry off and has taken his back! Perry looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perry is in a bad position with Jones working for a choke. Perry manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Perry stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Perry lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Perry stands up from Jones's guard - Perry perhaps looking for a knockout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Perry. Perry obviously looking to wear him down.
Perry lands a front kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Perry dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Perry misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice uppercut there from Jones. Jones fails with the takedown and Perry counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Perry closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Perry throws a big right hand that misses. Perry scoring with some ground and pound. Perry gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Perry drives through with a takedown into Jones's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Perry works over Jones with some ground and pound from guard. Perry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Perry postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Perry defends it easily. Perry is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Perry has managed to sneak the leg through. Sean Perry has got the better of the ground game so far. Perry looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Perry working Jones over with strikes. Perry wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Perry slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead. Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Perry scores with a couple of nice shots. Perry winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well. Perry looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Perry working Jones over with strikes. Perry lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Perry scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Perry postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.

Perry with good strikes from the mount here! Perry lands a heavy elbow. Perry working away from the top, dropping strikes. Perry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Perry working Jones over with strikes here. Perry is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Jones is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Perry is in the full mount, landing strikes. Perry dominating with strikes here. Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.
Perry working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Jones turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Perry off and cradles Jones's limp body as Perry celebrates with his corner.
